Create an Effective Marketing Layout Plan

Understand your target audience

Marketing success hinges on understanding the target audience. The first step is to create buyer personas, or profiles of your ideal customers. Include basic demographic information, as well as information about their needs, pain points, and how they make purchase decisions. To get to know your target audience, you can use available data, such as Census data, as well as primary research methods such as surveys and interviews. Try to go beyond the basics and really get to know what motivates your target customers. What are their hopes, dreams, and fears? What do they like and dislike? The more you know about your target audience, the better you can design a marketing layout that resonates with them.
