6. The wrong team One of the main reasons that startups (Entrepreneurs, Small Business and Tradesmen) fail is because they have assembled the wrong team. This can manifest in a number of ways, but usually it boils down to mismatched skillsets, personality clashes, or a lack of commitment from one or more team members. If you're starting a business, it's important to carefully consider who you're bringing on board. Do they have the skills and experience you need? Are they aligned with your vision for the company? Do you get along? It's not always easy to find the perfect team, but it's worth taking the time to do it right. Otherwise, you'll likely find yourself struggling to keep the business afloat.
